What we've found is that the
profile of clients for whom we can deliver the best overall job are those
with fleets of between 1 - 100 vehicles. Fleet Management is very much our
thing. Some of the things we arrange and deal with for you:-

2. Tax and CO2
comparisons on different vehicles;
3. The paperwork
for the supply of all the vehicles;
4. Sort out all
the Funding & all the associated documentation;
5. Prepare
reports for you to help keep track of all the service / renewal dates
6. Arrange for
the disposals of old vehicles;
7. Arrange the
collection+return of vehicles at the end of contract;
8. Procedures to
minimise Funders post-contract invoicing of damage;
9. Generally
assist dealing with the day-to-day matters of your fleet.
Residual
values of vehicles can be as important as discounts: The
Funding Companies' estimated Residual values are often as important a factor
in the monthly rental as the discount on capital cost of the vehicle. ie:
the higher the Funder's Residual Value, the lower the monthly rental cost.
Furthermore, different Funders will have differing views on the residual
value of any given vehicle.
Which Funding Method is best? If
it suits you best to have a blanket policy (whether it is all Lease or all
Purchase) we can easily accommodate and advise on that. However, the reality
is that the best Funding method may change from vehicle to vehicle, and from
month to month. Having a blanket policy (whether it is all Lease or all
Purchase) can be very convenient, but may cost you money. We can advise.
Sometimes the best funding method will be a Contract Hire, other times it
maybe best to do it on a different kind of Lease, and yet others may be
better to fund on one of the Purchase formats. What we can do for you is
look at all the options for each vehicle as it comes up for renewal.
